We hope you sense the warmth and sincerity of the people who make up Anniston's First BAptist Church at McClellan. This is an exciting time in the life of our church. We are eagerly seeking persons who are willing to invest their lives here, so we can grow and become the vibrant church God wants us to be. We want to invite you to become a member of our family of faith. You may join through any of the following methods:

Profession of Faith and Baptism: If you have not publically acknowledged Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to acknowledge Him today. Then you may claim the promises of hope He gives each of us, through the forgiveness of our sins. We will be honored to baptize you in the believers baptism by immersion practiced by this church.

Letter: If you are a member of another church, which practices believers baptism by immersio and you feel God leading you to this church family, we welcome you. We will take care of the detials for transferring  your membership.

Statement: If your membership records are not available and you have recieved believers baptism by immersion in the past, we will gladly accept you on the statement of your past experience.

Baptism from another denomination: We do not question one's faith simply because their past experience has been in another denomination. We are called Baptist because of our belief in believers baptism by immersion. When someone comes from another denomination, with different experience, we ask they join us in this common experience as a statement of their faith and their commitment to the unity of our experience.

Under Watch Care: If you wish to make a commitment to this church, yet not move your membership at this time, you may choose to come under the watch care of this church. You will be treated as a member but you will  not be able to serve in leadership until you jon our church fully.

Of course you are always welcome to visit with us with no obligation. Our family of faith is always open to guest who just drop in. Southern hosptality is just one of our specialties.
