Donald L. Sills, Pastor

Donnie was called as pastor of AFBCM in February 2017.  He and his wife Lori and their two sons, Alex and Jack, reside in the Choccolocco community and have been lifelong residents of Calhoun County.  Donnie received a Bachelor of Arts from JSU in 1990, a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 2008, and is currently in the Doctor of Ministry program at New Orleans.  Lori earned a Master of Science in Elementary Education from JSU in 2005 and teaches 3rd grade at Sacred Heart School.  Alex is a student at Gadsden State and is involved in Lifeway's Fuge camps and Shocco Springs Baptist Retreat Center.  Jack is also a student at Gadsden State and works at Shocco Springs Baptist Retreat Center.  The Sills family are a wonderful addition to the AFBCM Family, we are truly blessed.

  Kelly Lenard
Music Director

Kelly joined our Church Family September 2016 as our interim Music Director and has since become a regular staff member here at AFBCM. Kelly holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Music Education from JSU. She is the music and theatre teacher and choir director at White Plains High School. She is responsible for special music, holiday music, and directing and teaching all choirs, including the  FBC Children's Choir.


  Jody LeRoux
Worship Leader

Jody joined our staff August 2017 as our Worship Leader. Jody attended Daytona Community College on a voice scholarship and has previous experience leading congregational worship in the Southern Baptist Church. He wonderful at leading us in the flow of congregational worship through singing.


  Jerry Sills

Jerry joined our staff as Interim Accompanist April 2017 and has since become a regular staff member.  Jerry holds a Bachelor of Science from JSU and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Cumberland School of Law and is a partner in Stubbs, Sills, and Frye. He has filled various keyboarding roles in several local churches and is a great addition to all our services and choirs.


Mrs. Sherry McCune

Church Secretary

Sherry joined our staff as secretary September
2012.  She resides in Jacksonville with her husband Bobby McCune.  Together they have two daughters, Heather and Emily and a son Mason along with a grandson Weston and granddaughters Ryleigh, Macie and Madalynn.  She prides herself on trying to be the eternal optomist and always brings a smile to our face.

  Mark LeRoux

Youth Minister

Mark joined the staff here at Anniston's First Baptist Church in October, 2017 as our youth minister.  He and wife, Lizi, make a wonderful addition to our church family.
